Student recruitment specialist
B.S., Old Dominion University
Andrew is the student recruitment specialist for the School of Social Work. He provides support to prospective undergraduate and graduate social work students from inquiry to enrollment. In this role, Andrew hosts many of our recruitment events, meets one-on-one with students and assists with student recruitment initiatives.
Prior to his role at the School of Social Work, Andrew worked in the secondary education field as an assistant dean of students. Prior to that, Andrew was a program assistant for Old Dominion University as well as the founder of the Second Chance Operative Program, a nonprofit designed to help “at-risk” teens across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
When not working with prospective students, Andrews enjoys fishing and driving around with his dog in the backseat. He loves to have spontaneous conversations with new people, volunteering with youth and cooking various recipes he finds on TikTok.
