Two continuing education series are ongoing in Spring 2025, in addition to our signature annual event focused on macro social work, Social Work, Policy and Politics:

The VCU School of Social Work present Social Work, Policy and Politics, 5-7 p.m. ET Thursday, March 27, 2025. This is a hybrid event, so join us in person or virtually.

This year's theme is Futuring for Transformative Approaches to Policymaking in Richmond, Virginia. This is a hybrid event, so please join us in person or online. Our expert panelists will lead a conversation exploring how macro, mezzo and micro social work can intertwine to promote imagination that shapes local policies and promotes community healing.
