Specialized credentials and learning

Expand your knowledge by earning a certificate, certification, dual degree or minor; or by participating in customized programs for child welfare or early childhood special education.

The VCU School of Social Work provides a host of additional learning opportunities for our M.S.W. and B.S.W. students to enhance their skill sets and improve their career prospects.

Several specialized programs are in partnership with other VCU academic units, emphasizing the cross-disciplinary nature of social work. With the exception of dual degrees, these programs are accessible within the normal credit hours of the M.S.W. and B.S.W. degree plans. Don't wait - elevate!
