Bahiya Nasuuna is a B.S.W. student success advisor in the School of Social Work. Bahiya has worked in many student-facing positions in education and medical education. Her most recent role was working in the VCU Office of Medical Education on the MCV campus as a third- and fourth- year coordinator. Bahiya has a background in public health with an interest in women and child preventative health. Bahiya is currently working on her Ed.D. degree in leadership at VCU with the hope to expand her knowledge in the field of higher education.

In her free time, Bahiya enjoys getting lost in a good fantasy fiction book cuddled up with her cat, Noor, and sipping on a hot cup of tea.

Fun fact: Bahiya is from Boston but does not have a Bostonian accent!
