Since 2010, Jazmyn Porter has been dedicated to leveraging relationships, data and systems to provide student services and encounters that are practical, impactful and transformative. Her experience in social work education spans admissions to course instruction, with coaching and advising in between.

Students who work with Jazmyn will find a safe, collaborative and accountable space to assess, problem-solve and facilitate academic and professional development goals. By prioritizing informed decision-making, dignity and worth of a person, and self-determination in each interaction, she seeks to motivate and empower students to affirm who they are and what they do well, so that their unique traits, abilities and opportunities are utilized in support of their success.

In addition to her work in higher education, Jazmyn is on a quest to promote mind and matter wellness among moms of color through community-based health coaching and therapy. She is quite the health enthusiast but balances this with her love for baking.
