Natasha comes to the School of Social Work with a background in academic advising and clinical mental health counseling. She got her start in advising at VCU by working with incoming and first-year students in STEM and humanities majors.

Before being an advisor, she worked in outpatient mental health services and then intensive in-home counseling, where she primarily worked with children and families who had extensive trauma histories. She is excited to support students who are entering helping professions and approaches advising with empathy, care and compassion.

When she is not at work, Natasha loves spending time outdoors, traveling and reading mysteries in her free time.
