Muthoni Imungi is an associate professor in teaching and the past director of field education for the VCU School of Social Work. As director, she was responsible for managing the Office of Field Education, which oversees the field education of B.S.W and M.S.W. students.
Imungi has had an extensive career in social work field education. She began working in field education in 2004. Before joining VCU, she served as the director of field education at Grand Valley State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
