Since 2010, Jazmyn has been utilizing relationships data, and systems to provide student services and experiences that are impactful and transformative. Her experience in student affairs spans from admissions to course instruction, with coaching and advising in between.
Her approach to advising revolves around case management activities that are guided by tenets of the Strengths Perspective. Students who work with her will find collaboration as they assess, plan and facilitate academic, professional and personal development goals. Jazmyn believes that by motivating and helping students affirm who they are and what they do well, they will be able to utilize their unique abilities and traits to succeed in all they set out to do.
In addition to her work in higher education, Jazmyn is on the quest to improve pregnancy, birth and postpartum outcomes among Black women through community-based health coaching and counseling. She is quite the health enthusiast but balances this with her love for baking.
