School of Social Work

Allison Bell is the senior financial specialist for the School of Social Work at VCU. In this role, she oversees budget creation, financial analysis, auditing, purchasing and fixed assets management for the VCU Shared Services Team.

Allison's responsibilities include managing various budget types, overseeing scholarship award finances and monthly reconciliation of E&G, discretionary and overhead indices. She supports the assistant vice provost for finance & administration in preparing financial reports for the school’s budget.

Prior to joining the School of Social Work, Allison enjoyed working in many exciting departments throughout VCU, including chemistry, mechanical and nuclear engineering, and pathology at VCU Health Sciences. When not at VCU, she enjoys traveling to the Caribbean, reading, gardening in her expansive vegetable garden and spending time with her family.
