James Romanik joined the VCU School of Social Work as the director of development in April 2022. He is responsible for engaging alumni and key stakeholders in the school community, harnessing philanthropy for future initiatives. Previously, James was the director of development at The Doorways and St. Michael’s Episcopal School. He relocated to Richmond in 2018 after a number of years working in development roles in New York City.
