Ieesha Ramsey, Ph.D., serves as the director of student success, overseeing recruitment, advising and retention for the School of Social Work. Ieesha has been a higher education administrator for over 20 years, specializing in working with first-generation students, as well as students from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds.
She has a passion for student success and a deep appreciation for how a collegiate experience can impact the trajectory of a student’s life. Her research centers around college access and building college-going cultures for first-generation college students.
