Dr. Baldwin-White received her Ph.D. in social work from Arizona State University and focuses on the prevention of gender-based violence. Her interdisciplinary research primarily involves the development of prevention or intervention programs, and the integration of technology to improve accessibility and efficiency in program implementation. Dr. Baldwin-White is currently working to develop a video game that will serve as sexual assault prevention programming on college campuses.

She also engages with law enforcement and is collaborating to create a training for patrol officers on trauma-informed responses to sexual assault. Her trauma-informed research also extends to medical personnel. She is currently working with medical professionals to develop a smartphone app that serves as an educational resource on trauma-informed medical practices with survivors of gender-based violence. Dr. Baldwin-White also addresses the unique experiences of people with marginalized identities; and takes an antiracist/anti-oppressive approach to research. Dr. Baldwin-White’s research agenda will continue to focus on inclusive program prevention that works to stop gender-based violence and improves support for survivors.
