Julie is a double Ram, having completed an M.Ed. in counselor education in 2020 and a bachelor’s in English in 2012. She has been working in higher education since 2020, and as a counselor at heart, this work is endlessly motivating! She believes that all students deserve a space to be heard, and strives to create a welcoming environment for all. Julie helps students set goals, overcome obstacles and successfully navigate graduate school on their way to becoming social workers. She is passionate about holistic wellness and supports all students as whole people. Outside of work, Julie loves heading down to the James, porch-hangs with friends and cheering on the VCU basketball team.
