Kiara Faulks is a senior recruitment specialist in the School of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. Faulks is responsible for providing support to prospective graduate (M.S.W.) social work students from inquiry to enrollment. She facilitates student success by providing leadership to development, implementation, coordination and management of established, recruitment-related initiatives and strategic goals of the university, school, program and Office of Student Success.
Prior to joining the School of Social work, Faulks served as the program manager for The Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute where she was responsible for coordinating and organizing programmatic and educational logistics for the institute's programs and conferences, and was responsible for enhancing recruitment, instructional and research initiatives for the Institute. Prior to joining the VCU RAMily, she served as a behavioral counselor for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board. Faulks takes pride in being able to provide a service to the community and in building long-lasting relationships.
